The main objective of this Initiative is the implementation and dissemination of LCA applications and Life Cycle Thinking in the management practice towards achieving sustainable development. The LCA Center contributes to the global society as one of the core reserach institute for this Initiative.

Linking with UNEP and leading research institutes in the world, the LCA Center has been conducting research projects on sustainable consumption aiming at changing consumption and production patterns based on life cycle approach.
GALAC: Global Alliance for Life Cycle Assessment Center
For the need to be facilitating of ongoing exchange of opinions, discussions of how to increase application of LCA globally, LCA alliances support and share resources eacg itger. Non profit organization members from core of national activities between government and private sectors like the LCA Centers in Japan, Denmark, USA, Canada, Germany will get together for dissemination of Life Cycle thinking, not only LCA but also LCM, LCC etc to cooperate internationally.
